Annual Garage Sale (open to the public)

Sunday May 23, 2010  8:00 am - 1:30 pm

Eagles Hall - 2305 Alameda Ave, Alameda, CA

Every year, Twins by the Bay holds a huge garage sale where members can sell gently used maternity and children's items to other members and the general public.  Not only does the sale serve as a venue to buy and sell gently used equipment, toys and clothes, but also serves an important club function: it is the single biggest club event of the year. The main sale (open to the public) will be held on Sunday May 23, 2010, but current members may attend a presale on Saturday evening.  But don't worry if you aren't a twin family or member, there will be plenty of great stuff left on Sunday.  From 12-1 on Sunday, there will be half price sale where everything that is left and not reclaimed by sellers will be sold for half price!  And from 1-1:30, you can purchase clothing and soft items for $5 per bag.  What a deal!

In addition to fantastic items to buy and delicious items to eat at our amazing bake sale, local businesses donate items to be raffled off to members.  All proceeds for the raffle and bake sale, go to support Twins by the Bay events, services, and support groups.  Previous business who have donated include:

Twins by the Bay members are 100% responsible for the sale from preparations to setting up the room, from acting as cashiers to clean up, and from tagging all the items to requesting donations from local businesses. This sale could not take place without contributions from many, many people.

If you would like to be a seller and are not a member, please join our club!  We are limiting sellers to 30 this year and are almost full.  If you would like to support the club, but don't have the time to be a seller, consider donating your gently used baby and children's clothes, equipment, toys, books, and other items to Twins by the Bay.

All donations are 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

If you are looking to buy great things at a great price, join us Saturday or Sunday May 22nd and 23rd at Eagles Hall at 2305 Alameda Avenue in Alameda.
